How to fit more sports in a busy day ( part 2)

29 10 2009

I have been rather busy lately. …Well, that’s what everybody says but in the end it means something different for everybody. On average I work 12hours on weekdays and the weekends I’m trying to take off and on Sunday afteroon I catch up with the things I wasn’t able to do. I usually work between 8 and 10 hours in the office and 1 or 2 hours at home. Still I’m abel to fit 8h to 15h of sports in my schedule. This is how:

I have gone by bike to work for a while but it’s not a good workout for me. A bit too short and I’m not really able to focus on a quality training. Now I run to work 1hour per direction and a great long uphill. This has much more advantages than going by bike because. The effect of 1 running hour is the same as the effect of 2 cycling hours ( in theory).  The best thing of this all is. I can get home quite early in the eveing and I don’t need to hurry to go training. I can relax more and start work with great energy.

I will do this 2 to 3 times during the week and  I will go biking once during the week ( power uphills). During the weekende I try to do easy long rides.

Just put your running shoes on and run to work. It will boost your energy!
